On Friday, the Foreign Ministry of Iraq has announced that we are starting a mission and we are delivering 1500 travel document passport to our embassies in more than 7 European countries for those Iraqis who need to come back voluntarily to their home land.

The spokesman of the Iraqi Foreign Ministry Ahmed Jamal issued a press statement that the office of the Iraqi Foreign Ministry has started a specific mission and temporarily delivered about 7500 travel documents to Iraqi embassies in more than 7 European countries to distribute these documents for those Iraqi citizens who need to return deliberately to their home land.

He also stressed that the process for issuance of these documents and passports are for those who need to come back Iraq quickly and easily. We have experienced last month that more than 800 Iraqi citizens have returned deliberately by these transit passports from European countries. Hassan Khalat the MP for the citizen Bloc also appointed by the government to coordinate with other countries in order to bring back Iraqis to their country.

Point to be noted that most of the Iraqi citizens don’t have travel documents or passport because they travelled illegally to other countries and reported that their passport have damaged. The Internal situation in Iraq is getting better and Iraqi government needs to bring back their potential citizens in the country in order to take part in the development process in the country.
