The Iraqi Interior Ministry has denied that the leader of Daash Organization Abu Bakr Al-Baghdadi was killed in Nineveh Province.
A security official in the Iraqi Interior Ministry confirmed in a press interview that the leader of Daash Organization Abu Bakr Al-Baghdadi had minor injury in the air attack during a meeting with other top leaders of Daash in the Qaim area. He further indicated that the hawks’ intelligence cell coordination with the Air Force made it possible on the 13th of last month during a powerful airstrike and bombing by F-16 and targeting by rockets on the sites of Daash militants.
He added that wounding and killing of Al-Baghdadi and a number of other top leaders of Daash organization didn’t announce for some security reasons. The security official also pointed out that Daash leader Al-Baghdadi was moved to a hospital in a sympathy zone inside Syria for emergency medical treatment. The Security official forcefully denied the circulated news by international media regarding the death of Al-Baghdadi in a U.S airstrike. Some news had confirmed the death of Al-Baghdadi in an American airstrike at the Iraq-Syria border during a meeting of the leaders of Daash organization.
