Al-Maliki was behind the Iraqi Political Drama: Muthana Amin

The President of the Kurdistan Islamic Union bloc in the Iraqi Parliament Muthana Amin said that we are experiencing political crisis but it is nothing more than a preplanned political drama led by the former Iraqi Prime Ministr Nuri Al-Maliki and his party group.

He further added in a press interview that current political condition is just an internal political game, but not any kind of international game. He stressed that we noticed that Iran and the United States are involved in destabilizing the Iraqi political condition, but originally both countries showed their willingness in maintaining the Iraqi political stability at the current situation. He further added that the current political situation is showing the weakness of Iraqi Prime Minister within his nominated National Alliance party.

Muthana Amin pointed out that Nuri Al-Maliki and his party started hidden campaign against the Iraqi Prime Minister Haider Al-Abadi since the first day of his nomination as the Iraqi Prime Minister. Al-Maliki and his party started secret campaign against Al-Abadi and declared that there is a failure in the economy, services, security and many more. This reason caused a great anger in the Iraqi people and on the streets of Baghdad because the Iraqi Prime Minister relies upon the voice of opposition in termination of politically appointed ministers for his cabinet. He added that a number of members in the House of Representatives managed a protest inside the Iraqi Parliament on 12th April 2016 against the second ministerial cabinet presented by the Iraqi Prime Minister Haider Al-Abadi and this session was ended without approval of reshuffle in the Iraqi Cabinet of ministers.
