Iraqi oil exports rise to more than 3 million barrels per day

The country’s oil exports hit 3.273 million barrels a day in June, up from 3.262 million bpd in May, the Iraqi Oil Ministry said.

The ministry’s spokesman Assem Jihad said in a statement that the preliminary statistics issued by “Sumo” reported the export of 98 million and 178 thousand barrels last month.

He pointed out that exports achieved revenues of more than 4.130 billion dollars, the average selling price per barrel of 42.067 dollars.

Jihad said that “the total quantities exported from the oil fields in central and southern Iraq amounted to more than 97.5 million barrels, while the total exports of Kirkuk oil, 677.413 thousand barrels.”
