Our reliable source close to Iraqi political community informed that Iraqi Prime Minister Haider Al-Abadi met with the current ministers of Iraqi cabinet. He said not to leave their posts until the selection and approval for new cabinet and continue their work in the best interests of Iraqi people.
The Iraqi Prime Minister arranged an emergency meeting with his ministers of cabinet; he said that they should be confident and focus on their work in the best interests of Iraqi citizens. He stressed not to leave their posts and perform their duties efficiently until the announcement new cabinet. The source also indicated that some political sources confirmed that there would a minimal change in the Iraqi cabinet.
A number of political experts believe that there will not be a new cabinet of ministers, but it is expected that a couple of ministers will be replaced not the entire cabinet of ministers. Point to be noted that the President of the Kurdistan Islamic Union Bloc in the Iraqi House of Representatives Muthana Amin pointed out that Al-Maliki is behind the current political crisis and he needs to destabilize the government of Haider Al-Abadi. The current Iraqi Prime Minister also noticed the political activities, so the security measures have been taken to handle any kind of critical situation in the Green Zone. A large number of Iraqi security forces are inside the Green Zone and they are granted special permission to handle any kind of aggressive protests inside the Green Zone.
