Oil prices rise as OPEC takes a new decision


Oil prices rallied on Wednesday after expectations of a US cut in inventories, as well as comments by OPEC to deepen the deal to cut crude production. By 1234 GMT, global crude futures were up 17 cents, or 0.37 percent, to $ 46.19 a barrel after tumbling to below $ 46 on Tuesday. US light crude futures were trading 19 cents higher, or 0.44%, at $ 43.70 a barrel.
