Turkish President calls on Abadi and confirms his country’s support for Iraq


Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi received a telephone call from Turkish Prime Minister Ben Ali Yildirm, in which the latter confirmed his country’s support for the unity of Iraq.

A statement from the office of Abadi that Ben Yildirm expressed “congratulations on the liberation of Mosul, and confidence in the ability of Iraq and its people to complete the liberation of the city of Tal Afar and remaining from Iraqi territory, praising the sacrifices of Iraqi forces and the leadership of Abadi successful liberalization.

The head of the Turkish government, according to the statement “to provide assistance and support for the reconstruction and reconstruction programs of Iraq, and stressed that Turkey’s firm position is a supportive position for the unity of Iraq.”

“The victory is due to the courage and sacrifices of the Iraqi forces in defense of Iraq and to the humanitarian deal with the citizens and protecting them from unjust injustice,” Abbadi said, referring to the cooperation and positive interaction between our liberated forces and citizens and the continued efforts of the Iraqi government to restore stability and return of the displaced to their homes and cities.
